Supporting the Australian Department of Defence’s ex-firefighting training area, OPEC Systems installed ‘the original’ SAFF unit which has been operating since 2019. Since 2023, SAFF has produced more than 30M gallons of clean water, and only 20 gallons of tertiary fractionate.
During a three month field trial, SAFF removed PFAS from eight million gallons of leachate.
In partnership with Civil Environmental Consultants, Allonnia ran a SAFF pilot to treat 360,000 gallons of contaminated PFAS water. The planned eight-week pilot was completed in five weeks due to SAFF’s highly successful performance with more than 700x concentration factor.
This Minnesota site produces clean drinking water for more than 174,000 residents. EPOC Enviro partnered with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to operate SAFF in a closed loop system with electrochemical oxidation for destruction.
Allonnia conducted an in situ demonstration to clean up an industrial site’s contaminated groundwater where previous treatment left behind a significant amount of 1,4-dioxane. The team introduced 1,4 D-Stroy microbes into two wells and conducted monitoring for five months.
