Formerly head of Strategy, Growth and M&A at DuPont Water Solutions and Global Director at Solvay, Nicole has deep industry knowledge and experience with companies tackling critical industrial and environmental issues, and a track record for developing talent.
She believes that biotechnology will revolutionize the way we leverage waste as a resource.
Dr. Kent Sorenson is a globally recognized expert with over 25 years of experience in innovative remediation technologies for water, soil, and sediments across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He has pioneered advancements in bioremediation, chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, thermal remediation, monitored natural attenuation, and more, and was honored by the American Society of Civil Engineers with the 2020 Henry L. Michel Award for Industry Advancement of Research. He holds six U.S. patents related to in situ bioremediation and technologies to install solid-phase amendments in the subsurface to treat low permeability sites, and is currently focusing on the development of technologies for treatment of PFAS-contaminated water.
Kent has worked at nearly 200 sites worldwide, and has coauthored over 40 scientific publications and over 180 presentations at various national and international conferences and symposia.
Chuck has over 30 years of executive experience leading industrial businesses including mining, metal treatment, lubricants, oil and gas, water treatment and many others. He has a track record of bringing innovative technology to market and working with customers to solve their unmet needs. Before joining Allonnia, Chuck was a global executive vice president at Solvay, and had worked previously at Cytec Industries and Rhodia.
Pamela leads Human Resources, bringing over 25 years of experience as a seasoned professional in the field, having worked in both domestic and international companies across a broad range of industries and services. Her expertise extends beyond HR into areas such as operations, marketing, and corporate communications.
Before joining Allonnia, Pamela was leading HR and building world-class teams at DuPont and then Anomatic.
Siri serves as Chief of Staff for Allonnia, supporting the CEO in strategic planning, operations, project management, people, and communications. She is a strategy, insight, and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in Fortune 100 companies such as Dow and DuPont, and is deeply committed to fostering collaboration, facilitating strategic thinking, and catalyzing execution.
Hugh has a diverse background in financial and operational leadership across multiple industries. After starting in public accounting and large financial institutions, Hugh has focused his career for the last 20 years developing venture and PE backed growth businesses. He brings financial leadership, strategic planning, risk management, and governance skills to the Allonnia team.
Marc Doyle is a seasoned global business leader known for driving sustainable growth across diverse sectors such as Electronics, Transportation, Healthcare, and Energy. With a collaborative leadership style and sharp business acumen, he has achieved significant success in both traditional and high-growth markets, particularly in Asia. Passionate about leveraging technology for societal betterment, Marc thrives at the intersection of innovation and emerging market needs, focusing on areas like renewable energy, industrial safety, and smart connectivity.
Beginning as a research engineer at DuPont, Marc transitioned into marketing and business leadership roles, orchestrating notable transformations such as growing the DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions business from $400 million to over $1.2 billion in revenue in just four years. He has also spearheaded turnarounds, doubling profits at DuPont Protection Technologies over three years and leading the formation of the Specialty Products company within DowDuPont that became the new DuPont with $21B revenues and >34K employees. With a rich portfolio of experiences, including CEO roles in private equity ventures like Arxada, and board positions in various organizations, Marc brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
He holds a BS and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and the University of California at Berkeley, respectively.
Michael has over 25 years of leadership and management experience in military, legislative and private sector roles for both publicly traded and privately held corporations. He is currently the Vice President of Business Development for National Security at Battelle. For more than a decade, his positions focused on generating sustainable growth, strategy development, M&A, plus profit and loss accountability.
A former U.S. Army officer, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy. Michael also holds a JD from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and is a graduate of The Wharton School’s Advanced Management Program. He is a member of the DC Bar.
Nicole Richards is the CEO of Allonnia with over 28 years of experience leading global businesses across multiple industries including Water, Mining, Paper, Chemicals and Materials. Throughout her career, Nicole has led the development of business strategies, including four merger and acquisition events and numerous partnerships. She has won several awards recognizing women in industry and her professional achievements.

Dean has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry and is recognized for building high-performance teams and executing strategies on a global scale. His leadership philosophy centers on fostering high-performance teams, driving a clear, actionable vision, and upholding excellence across all aspects of business—from safety, technical, and operational functions to human resources, finance, legal, environmental, and sustainability practices. Previously, Dean served as Chief Technology Officer at Newmont and as President and CEO of Rio Tinto Minerals.
Dean is a licensed professional engineer, holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the University of Idaho and a master’s degree in project management from the University of Aberdeen. His commitment to excellence extends beyond his profession; he was dedicated to community service as an EMT/Firefighter and enjoys a wide range of outdoor pursuits, along with a strong devotion to family life.
Lieutenant General (Ret.) Thomas P. Bostick is a senior advisor on biotechnology, infrastructure, sustainability, HR, and DEI, previously serving as COO and President, Intrexon Bioengineering (NASDAQ: XON). Thomas is on the boards of CSX (NASDAQ: CSX), Perma-Fix (NASDAQ: PESI), HireVue, and Fidelity Investments’ Equity and High-Income Fund Board of Trustees. He also serves on multiple non-profit boards.
As the 53rd Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, he helped lead the nation’s response to Superstorm Sandy. He was also the Army’s Director of Personnel, and as the Commanding General of U.S. Army Recruiting Command, he deployed with the 1st Cavalry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom and later commanded the Gulf Region Division, where he was responsible for an $18B construction program.
Thomas is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and serves on several committees of the National Academy of Sciences focused on the environment and climate change. He is a licensed professional engineer, a Forbes Contributor, and an Affiliated Scholar at Stanford University, and recently published his first book, Winning After Losing: Building Resilient Teams.
Tom Biegala is a Founding Partner at Bison Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in frontier technology companies that aim to create a healthier person and healthier planet.
Tom has been working in frontier technology and sustainability as an investor and engineering for nearly 20 years. His passion for the space started with early research on cutting-edge OLED and photovoltaic technologies as an engineering student at Cornell University. Since then, Tom has been in involved in all phases of a company’s life cycle from newco formation and early R&D through to scale-up and IPO.
