Nicole Richards, Chief Executive Officer

Nicole Richards brings over 28 years of industry experience leading businesses, strategy, and commercial organizations within water treatment, mining and industry chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more. She recently came from DuPont Water Solutions as the Strategy, Growth and M&A leader and prior to that as a Global Director at Solvay. Her deep industry knowledge and experience with companies tackling critical industrial issues positions her well to lead Allonnia in creating the next generation of bioremediation solutions.

Kent Sorenson, Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Sorenson is an internationally recognized expert with over 25 years of experience developing and applying innovative remediation technologies for water, soil, and sediments in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Dr. Sorenson has worked at nearly 200 sites worldwide, and has coauthored over 40 scientific publications and has given over 180 presentations at various national and international conferences and symposia.

Dayal Saran, VP of Research

Dayal is a global R&D leader with over 15+ years of industrial experience in leveraging metabolic engineering and biotechnology to commercialize the novel solutions in the area of industrial proteins and enzymes, flavors / fragrances and other food ingredients, insect control agents, live biotherapeutics, and biofuels. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in biochemistry.

Mack Astorga, VP of Business Development

Mack is a senior executive specializing in business development, innovation, and strategic account management. His career has focused on providing expert advice and oversight in corporate risk and business strategy, with an emphasis in the environmental and wastewater fields. He has worked in a wide variety of private sector industries including heavy manufacturing and freight rail, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, sports and corporate real estate.

Bryne Gramlich, VP of Business Development

Bryne is an accomplished Senior Operations Executive with 25 years of experience leading P&L business units in the oil and gas industry. He has a proven track record of unlocking a company’s value through strategic planning, developing highly effective and collaborative work teams, and building a culture based on innovation and continuous improvement.

Rafael Mier, VP of Business Development

Rafael has an extensive track record of delivering technology-based solutions to global customers in multiple industries, including specialty materials, mining, appliances, chemicals, fertilizers, and steel. Rafael has worked for public and private companies in various roles including strategy, business development, sales management, marketing, quality assurance, and investor relations.

Siri Gawrish, Chief of Staff

Siri serves as Chief of Staff for Allonnia, supporting the CEO in strategic planning, operations, project management, people, and communications. Siri is a strategy, insight, and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies such as Dow and DuPont. She loves to collaborate, enable strategic thinking, and catalyze execution.

Noah Sullivan, Executive Assistant

Noah Sullivan has dedicated years to making his workplace environments more cohesive. With over 7 years of hospitality experience, Noah prides himself on being able to efficiently communicate with any and everyone. He has worked in a variety of industries and finds that he does his best work planning, coordinating, and scheduling for others.
